ESSAYS ON SPECIFIC WORKS

 

The online edition of the Dictionary now includes more than 2000 articles on pastellists with lists as complete as possible of their works. The scope for discussion of specific works is necessarily limited within this format, and a series of in-depth essays on specific works is planned, indexed from this page. These essays will range from 500 to 15,000 words, and discuss individual works in museums and private collections. Some are based on articles the author has published elsewhere.
